Hey Guys!!!
Taylor Musial here to tell you about the amazing time I’ve had on tour this year.
On Ministry tour we’ve been given opportunities to meet new people and have times when we’ve had to go out of our comfort zone to meet others who have been impacted by God. Every church that we’ve sung at has welcomed us with open arms and given us a place to stay. There have been a couple times that I wondered, how could we give back and help others just like the host homes and the people we’ve met on tour. So when I heard on Tuesday that we would be doing a service project I was really excited! We found out that we would be helping at a garage that gave people who were less fortunate the opportunity to have things like a car, bike, etc. Good News Garage was a success with the choir because we worked together to get things done. It felt good giving back to people who really needed it. Sometimes living in such a good area we tend to forget that life is not so easy for some and we take for granted the gifts we get from our parents. This service project was worth all the dirt and grime that I got into because I knew that it was worth every ounce of work. Especially when we got onto the bus to leave, I saw a family of 3 little kids picking up bikes with big smiles on their faces. It felt good to know that with a little effort you really can impact someone’s life. Times like these are the ones that I’ll miss the most when I go to college in the fall. Eagles Wings has become another family to me and has changed how I appreciate a lot of things. Each tour is a life-changing experience that really makes you stop and think about what is really important in life.
Peace Out! See you soon!!!
